Tajibo Events B.V. ("Tajibo", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

1. Data Controller

Tajibo Events B.V., registered in the Netherlands (KvK: [KVK-NUMMER]), is the data controller for the personal data processed through tajibo.nl.

2. Data We Collect

Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.

Usage data — pages visited, time on site, clicks, browser type, and device. Collected only with your analytics consent via Google Analytics 4. IP addresses are anonymised.

Marketing interaction data — ad impressions, clicks, and conversions via Meta Pixel. Collected only with your marketing consent.

We do not collect sensitive data (health, political opinions, etc.) and we never sell your data.

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Newsletter & event communications: to send you presale access, event announcements and exclusive offers. Legal basis: your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Website analytics: to understand how our website is used and improve the experience. Legal basis: your explicit consent for analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Personalised advertising: to show you relevant Tajibo ads on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Legal basis: your explicit marketing consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Legal obligations: compliance with Dutch tax and accounting law. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Data Sharing

We share data only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards. Our processors include:

• Email platform (e.g. Brevo / Mailchimp) — for newsletter delivery under a Data Processing Agreement.

• Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, subject to EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — Meta Pixel for advertising, subject to EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Only activated with your marketing consent.

We do not transfer data to third countries beyond what is described above, and we never sell or rent your personal data.

5. Data Retention

Newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe, plus 12 months for suppression purposes.

Analytics data: up to 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).

Financial records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law (Belastingdienst).

You may request deletion at any time — see Section 6.

6. Photography and Video at Events

By purchasing a ticket to or attending a Tajibo event, you acknowledge that photos and video footage may be captured during the event for promotional and documentary purposes.

This material may be published on tajibo.nl, our Instagram, TikTok, and other official Tajibo channels.

If you are identifiable in a photo or video and wish to have it removed, please contact us at privacy@tajibo.nl with a description or link to the content. We will respond within 30 days.

Please note: a physical notice will be displayed at the entrance of every Tajibo event informing attendees of filming.

7. Your Rights (Art. 15–22 GDPR)

You have the right to: access a copy of your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict processing; receive your data in a portable format; object to processing; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@tajibo.nl. We will respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests). You will not be charged for reasonable requests.

8. Complaints

If you believe your rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority:

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will notify newsletter subscribers of material changes.
